5.) Escaflowne (Good story line.. I love almost all of Hajime Yadate's work but the ending sucked... decent movie)
4.) His and Her Circumstance (Kind've a chick thing.. my girlfriend wanted me to buy it for her so I did.. I ended up watching it and it's not that bad... Done by Gainx (producers of Evangelion) and the actual writer of Evangelion... it's a high school romance though... :wtf: )
3.) Serial Experiments LAIN (I reccomend this series to EVERYONE.. it's such a mind fuck... trust me when I say watch this series.)
2.) Neon Genesis Evangelion (classic... nothing else to say.. you're not a true anime fan unless you've seen this series and the movies)
1.) Cowboy BeBop (I'm a huge fan of Vicious.. my favorite villain.)

This is basically all I have seen, but I have seen Akira and I was not impressed with the story. Just Me.

Quite interesting that no one has mentioned Full Metal Panic. Has anyone seen the series?.... its UNDOUBTLY one of THE BEST series i've ever seen. I don't think i can name my top 5... but here's a few that i've grown to love

you know, all the usuals. I've seen alot of movies, but half of them i dont remember names of. That kind of stuff only gets played really late on TV where I live. Kudos to Cartoon Network tho for having anime every night.

It might be Blue Sub 6, i know they showed that once. There's also Perfect Blue, that's more of a psychological anime though...

Please Teacher - Great but leaves a little feeling of emptiness. OAV leaves much to be desired.

2.Ghost in the Shell-I cant really pick out anything that just sticks out about this movie, I just love it. It may have something to do with a hot naked half robot half chick running around blowing stuff up. Seriosly, this movie is a masterpiece.

3.Akira-A little Japanese dude goes insane and tries to end existance, always fun time...yay!!!

4. Fooly Cooly (For those nights when I have plenty of lsd, extasy, crack...)

5. Blood: The Last Vampire: The ending is really like: Bleh.. Uh, what the hell just happened? The amimation blew me away. This is the movie that got me into anime

I also have to put Invader Zim. It didn't get on the list simply because it is an american show. It is funnier than hell, although really...out there. GIR, you ma' boy!

honey and clover, is that the show with the cute midget girl? That show was addiciting and I don't know why either, it felt mature to me, something for college kids to watch and get a slice of life. funny as hell too. Yep thatr's honey and clover!!
