LOL... Not junking it.

I would think negative battery connection first. Check ground to engine, ground to chassis aswell.

Ya say it cranks fine when you try to start? Take your jumper cable set and attach both negative and positive cable clamps to the negative (-) side of the battery, make sure it's a solid connection. Then take the other end of the cable set and attach one clamp to some solid metal on the engine like a lifting hook or large accessory bracket,(alt,p/s,etc). Then attach the other cable clamp to a solid ground on the body. What your doing is creating new ground straps from the battery to the engine and body to see if theres a short with the cars straps. Make sure nothing gets attached to the positive,(+) side of the battery.Theres nothing invasive or harmfull to the car doing this as long as you keep the cables clear of the fan and belts and the positive terminal of the battery.Crank the engine and see if it starts. If you get a result then eliminate one of the cables or the other to narrow it down. Report back.

If you have a solenoid on the side of the fender. Try putting a jumper cable across the sides of the terminals and check if it will start.

These switches have to be adjusted properly to function properly. http://www.ebay.com/ search 370883559885 Look at picture. Are any relays in the wiring diagram? Haynes usually has a wiring diagram. Use a DVOM and check for a blowed fuseable link in the electrical center. Usually along side the fender in the engine compartment with a black cover on it.

Some fuseable links look like this http://www.ebay.com/
Search 261312634056 I think this one is for computer.
Auto parts stores carry them in different amps.
