Hello!
There will be a movie car GB for my nex local model show, so I'd like to build Bumblebee from Transformers. There are some problems with it, because nobody made the '76 one Camaro, and there are some '74 kits, but imposibille to buy one.
I bougth the '70 one and a transkit for the '74. Now I just have to modify the rear window. Of corse with the special details of the movie car

Revell makes a '79 camaro if that helps you. I think it is closer to a 76 than the '70 1/2 would be. Might save some labor...

Yes i know it, I have one. But unfortuntely I have to rebuild the ends of the car (completly different) and I have a transkit what is 1:25 one. The revell is 1:24. So I had the choise that I'll have to rebuild the ends of the car, or the rear window
But thank you for the help:smile:

Hello!
I painted the base coat of Revell rust. I can't wait to try the hairspray technic!

Hello,
Now I could try the hairspray technic. when I started it worked well, but whlle it started to drying it sterted to become difficult, because the base rust layer wasn't protected as good as before. But I think after somer pastel powder and a little dry brushing it won't be a bad firtst-try :D

Nice project you have here. I must say that I built this kit in the past and it is reather nice. Only had small issue with firewall. But of course that was 6 years ago. Look forward to this. And building one for myself as well. Though not a bumblebee ;)

Keep it coming

I nearly finnished the interrior, and started to weathering the body

http://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq80/janochabel/Bumblebee/DSCF5551.jpg
But I couldn't make the rear window yet, I hope I'll could do it, because I really don't want to throw away as much work as I had whit it. All depends in a :censored: window...

I've made a disco ball too!!!!

disco ball ftw!

oh, what kind of paint did you use for the body? it seemed semi-matte/close to matte as it is and it captures bumblebee's weathered look very nicely. :)

Nice, the Accurate Miniatures Corvette Gran Sport kit should have the intake manifold you need. The Weber carburetors should be readily available in many kits and also on Ebay. Good luck with this project! I like how it's turning out so far. :sunglasse

A very good paint job, and very realistic.
And the details that you are adding to the engine are fantastic

WOW!! That is BAD A$$ BeeOch!! incredible build.
I can hear Bobby Bolivia's voice selling it to Witwicky.
Now you should build the 2007 Concept Camaro and set them together.
Love it!
