Honda S2000 Coupe Custom

This is Tamiya's S2000 with a Fujimi 240Z roof grafted on. The lower half of the front end is a SAS Skyline piece. Hood extractor is from a Mitsubishi Evo and rims/brakes are Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

Body fender mods were done by me with styrene and putty...also there is a rocker panel skirt.

Body is painted Tamiya TS26 white, rims are metallic black.

These 'garage pics' are an experiment.

Honestly, I love Hondas, I love S2000 but I generally don't like them when they're modified. Yours is the exception, I'm really amazed by how well these parts from various cars fit together so well, and I just love the style you gave to the fenders.

The only thing I can regret is not to have a 1:1 S2K to modify it like yours.

Nice work! ;)

great body kit. Makes me wonder how a real S2000 Shooting Brake would look like.

I honestly did not like the style, was less aggressive than S2000 original and the rear is strange to me. But, your work, is fantastic as usual. Congratulations.

I'm thinking: this is what it should've looked like factory stock. Nice job! Very aggressive look, and so jdm. Looks like even the driver sleeps on the right side of the bed

Hi Brian,

nice and clean work, no doubt! But I personally like S2Ks mor in stock version.
To my eyes, the S2K is one of the very few bodies in automotive history that
doesn't need any tweaking.

Great build, though!

nice work bro. if nissan were to make an anniversary 240z, your side shot is where they should begin. :grinyes:

It's a lot to take in at first but the results are absolutely fantastic!! The craftsmanship is superior as always and I like the fact that you chose white as the color and decided to let the body lines speak for themselves! Superb!! :sunglasse

Superb work on both the design and execution! Like someone said already this should have been how it looks like from the factory. You should show this concept to Honda, only if they hadn't discontinued their real car.

Very impressive work as usual, the modifications must have taken a lot of effort. I think it looks excellent, it definitely has elements that remind me of a 240Z, especially the side view which is no bad thing!

I have to say i don't really like the fenders and flares, but the bumper and top portion of the z fit perfect. The results are beautiful and look flawless, just not my style. Its a cool s2k though.

Nice Concept. I'd never thought this car would look good in a hard top until now.

I'd agree. Superb work, but I'm not a fan of the fender flares. The hardtop reminds me of a Mooncraft design.

I like it a lot, minus fenders and rear skirts.

I quite like it, it looks very Japanese (and very Brian too!), and of course the work itself is superb as always.

Man, this is awesome Brian! This is true creation and development right here. I love the subject, S2000 and to pull it off like this is quite an accomplishment. Very nice!

It took me coming back to it to warm to those fenders, but I like it. The S2000 should've been made as a fastback (this is no secret), especially with a V6. So, imagining there's a V6 under that really cool hood, those fenders are warranted. Gorgeous!

Another one that has sailed past me! Where was the WIP?

I love your kit bash efforts Brian and this is awesome! You have a knack of marrying together things that look like they were intended to be that way.
