1/24 Tamiya Peugeot 206 WRC 2001 Another great kit from Tamiya and built in record time as well, three weeks or thereabouts. It's the car that competed on the 2001 Monte Carlo rally and was driven by brothers Gilles and Herve Panizzi. The kit went together in the usual way that you expect from Tamiya and again I added in some extras such as the Studio 27 photo-etch parts which includes brake discs, bonnet pins, windscreen wipers, also miniature seat belts were put in place of the standard decals supplied and a couple of Sakatsu aerials were used instead of using the Tamiya method of stretching a length of spare plastic. There really was no problem with any part of this kit, decals went on really well and everything fitted as it should have, once again, another perfect kit from Tamiya. Back
